Another Amazing Video

Although I had heard this advertisement on the radio, I did not know that there was a video that accompanied it. When I first watched it, I cannot express in words how it made me feel. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do.

For those subscribed through email, here is a direct link to the video.

Let's just say it makes me feel like your organization is very mis-leading in their representation. It causes you to separate, where God wants unity, that you try to be exclusive "in doing good" is very wrong.

I can see where Catholicism has some roots in Christianity, yet it seems to have departed from those origins. One that I can see talked about by Paul in 1 Timothy 4:1-3. Does forbidding to marry and abstaining from foods sound familiar, why would the rest not apply?

I won't get into the rest I've been thinking on...this is probably enough.

Of course God wants unity. However, at what cost? I do not think that He expects us to forsake any of the truths of the Doctrine that He has revealed to us. This unity that you speak of, in my experience, can only be found within the Catholic Church. It is the only Church that has not changed any of it's doctrine for the past 2000 years.

I can see where Catholicism has some roots in Christianity, yet it seems to have departed from those origins.

This would be funny if it wasn't such a serious topic. Think about it. You are saying the the Catholic Church has some roots in Christianity. I am suggesting that the historical record will show that Catholicism is the root of Christianity. It is not separate at all. Instead, it is the definition of the Church. Just examine the early church, and you will see.

Does forbidding to marry...

esus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage[c]because of the kingdom of heaven.

Was Jesus wrong when He said that some would forsake marriage for the kingdom of heaven? Of course not. Just think of priestly celibacy as the fulfillment of this message from Christ.

abstaining from foods

Read Matt 9:14-17. I don't think that Jesus had a problem with fasting. As a matter of fact, He said that his disciples would fast, when the bridegroom is not among them.

God bless you and I hope you have a wonderful Labor Day.
